Trudeau’s raven tattoo trying desperately to tear itself from his body, escape, witnesses say

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s raven tattoo is attempting to tear itself from his shoulder and fly away, multiple witnesses say.

The tattoo, which features a design by Haida artist Robert Davidson, could be heard crying and fluttering beneath the Prime Minister’s suit over the weekend while he met with First Nations in northern Alberta.

“I think [Trudeau] was trying to ignore it but it was pretty obvious that the raven was attempting to get away,” said Melanie Laboucan, who was in a meeting with the Prime Minister on Sunday.

“[Trudeau] would just kind of laugh and hold his shoulder and keep talking, like nothing was happening—I felt really bad for the bird.”

A spokesperson for the Prime Minister confirmed that the raven tattoo was active but denied that it was trying to escape from Trudeau’s support of the Kinder Morgan pipeline and other major natural resource developments that are opposed by Indigenous Peoples.
