Every member of the federal Liberal government is caught in a giant dreamcatcher constructed on a Manitoba First Nation, authorities announced on Friday.
First responders are attempting to free the 183 Members of Parliament from the dreamcatcher’s webbing. The MPs — and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau — were found writhing and shouting early Friday morning by a member of the Red Dog First Nation.
“I felt kinda bad for them,” said Georgette Boulet, who first found the MPs.
“They looked really uncomfortable, and embarrassed–but they were trying to pretend everything was ok.”
Dreamcatchers are woven webs, constructed inside hoops and traditionally hung above the beds of children and infants to catch bad dreams.
The massive dreamcatcher was constructed as a public art installation by the First Nation in 2013.
