The next federal election is still over ten months away, but the Liberals are already focusing their message to Indigenous voters.
It’s a message that will have a bold take-it-or-leave-it flare, according to documents obtained by Walking Eagle News.
“You want the Conservatives back? Because they could come back,” reads one draft campaign speech. “Sure, we haven’t done much of what we promised but remember how bad it was when they were charge?”
It isn’t just the ruling Liberals that are hoping to woo Indigenous people.
The NDP are betting on a ‘bad boy’ image and are expected to just constantly post to social media the image of Cree MP Romeo Saganash swearing in the House of Commons.
A Conservative strategist, speaking on the condition of anonymity. told Walking Eagle News that their party is looking into hiring hypnotists who can lull Indigenous voters into forgetting the previous decade of their rule altogether.
