Sweaty, nervous Trudeau ‘glad that Jody Wilson-Raybould will speak before committee’

His brow sweating, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told reporters on Tuesday that he’s looking forward to Jody Wilson-Raybould being able to speak before a Parliamentary committee probing the SNC-Lavalin scandal.

Wilson-Raybould agreed to testify after an Order-in-Council was posted waiving cabinet confidence and solicitor-client privilege.

“Yeah, no, it’s fine. It’s totally fine,” Trudeau said, his voice shaking. “I can’t wait. Seriously, I’m glad that Jody Wilson-Raybould will speak before committee. So glad. I mean, shit, yeah, bring on the truth, right?”

Trudeau then quickly left Centre Block where he was speaking with reporters, saying he had something in his eye and that he would be busy all day Wednesday when Wilson-Raybould is set to testify.
