Tens of thousands of Indigenous Peoples shake heads, sigh

Tens of thousands of Indigenous Peoples shook their heads and sighed on Friday, in both urban and rural areas across the country.

“Sigh,” sighed Mary Sinclair, an Anishinaabe woman from Regina, Sask., as she looked at her iPhone while shaking her head in disbelief.

“Sigh.”

It’s the three hundredth time Indigenous Peoples have sighed and shaken their heads this week alone, some in anger and some in utter disbelief.
