Trudeau to personally arrest Kinder Morgan opponent to prove support

Not to be one-upped by Green Party leader Elizabeth May’s arrest at a demonstration against the expansion of the Kinder Morgan pipeline, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau vowed on Friday to arrest at least one protester himself to prove his support.

“I’m not a member of law enforcement but if Elizabeth May can put herself on the line for something she believes in, then it makes sense that I do the same,” Trudeau said, donning riot gear and practicing swinging a billy club.

“That’s why I’m going to personally take down a protester myself.”

Before mounting a horse and charging into a crowd of demonstrators in downtown Vancouver, Trudeau told reporters he also planned to prove his seriousness about the Trans Mountain Pipeline by building a portion of it single-handedly.
