Nearly 2-million Indigenous Peoples announced that they’re giving up their cultural identities and fully joining Canadian society after being told ‘there’s only once race, the human race’ by an online commenter.
“We had never really thought about that way but thanks to an online commenter, we see the error of our ways,” read a statement by Indigenous Peoples, likely the last before they join Canada en masse.
“What choice do we have when faced with such a profound statement?”
It’s one of the largest cultural and racial abandonments in North America, shadowed only by the widespread conversion of millions of black Americans to white people when they were told that all lives matter on Twitter in 2016.
