‘Jody who?’ Trudeau taking strange new approach to scandal

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau denied ever knowing Liberal MP Jody Wilson-Raybould, despite her resignation from his cabinet on Tuesday in the wake of allegations he pressured her to help engineering firm SNC-Lavalin avoid criminal prosecution.

“I’m sorry, Jody who?” Trudeau told reporters, when asked about the scandal in Winnipeg on Tuesday.

“I’ve never met anyone by that name..also, what’s an SMT Blabalan?”

Trudeau, who was suddenly wearing a handlebar mustache and top hat in the middle of the press conference, also suggested that he wasn’t the prime minister and that the reporters confused him with someone else.

The press conference ended with Trudeau loudly shouting ‘NOW BRING ON THE RECONCILIATION DANCERS!’ while confetti and balloons dropped from the ceiling and loud music suddenly blared.
