The beloved and wildly popular Indigenous news portal Walking Eagle News celebrates its second birthday and people around the globe couldn’t be happier.
“I think we can all agree that two years is one more year than just one year,” said an estatic Editor-in-Grand-Chief Tim Fontaine.
“They say four and seven are sacred numbers but we think two is a pretty sacred number too. We think lots of things.”
Launched in 2017 by Fontaine, Walking Eagle News has published over 250 hard-hitting stories. It’s journalism that has cemented its position as the most trusted source of Indigenous news in the entire galaxy.
