MPs from both the Conservative and Liberal party say a snowstorm battering huge swaths of Ontario is an ‘extremist thug’ bent on shutting down Canada’s economy.
“It’s obvious this snowstorm is a foreign-funded, extremist thug bent on taking the livelihoods away from honest, hard-working regular ol’ Canadians like you and me,” said a furious Andrew Scheer.
“Blocking roads, causing huge delays–has this storm no respect for the rule of law?”
Though Scheer lashed out at the Liberal government for ‘pandering’ to the lawless snowstorm, several of the governing MPs levelled their own criticism at the snowstorm.
Public Safety Minister Bill Blair said that Canada’s military is going to be immediately mobilized to neutralize the threat.
