Tens of thousands of Canadians say they can’t stop touching their faces during the global outbreak of Covid-19 and they are placing the blame squarely on rail blockades and other actions in support of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs.
“Everyone is saying not to touch your face but roughly ten minutes after vowing not to touch my face I touched my face,” said Canadian citizen Bianca Puro.
“We’re being held hostage by these blockades and we must enforce rule of law.”
Although it’s unclear how blockades are linked to touching your face during a viral outbreak, Canadians overwhelmingly say it’s time to military moves in to clear demonstrators.
