Queen Elizabeth will use Zoom to address over 900,000 First Nations people on Wednesday, Buckingham Palace announced. However, many First Nations aren’t sure why.
Officials from the Royal Family said it’s an opportunity to reconnect with and comfort those the crown signed treaties with.
“Ok,” said May Wolf, a member of the Lonely Lake First Nation in northwestern Ontario.
“I mean, yeah sure, I guess.”
Despite the apprehensions, a spokesperson from Indigenous Services Canada reminded all 900,000+ First Nations people to dress nice and keep their Zoom on mute during the address.
