The head of the Assembly of First Nations has launched a glossy, Oprah-esque magazine simply titled P.
National Chief Perry Bellegarde said P will be a lifestyle guide for Chiefs, leaders, executive directors and of course, regular folk like himself.
“From which beaded bolo tie is best for summer to getting the most out your MOU, this is the definitive serial for the elected First Nations leader,” said an ecstatic Bellegarde.
Articles in the inaugural edition include a photo spread of the National Chief called Closing the Gap – In Style and an article titled No, YOU’RE a Sellout! Coping with Lateral Violence.
P Magazine is expected to be available at band offices, tribal council headquarters and convention centres in the coming weeks and will cost $600 for each copy for Chiefs and leaders, $450 for band council members and $300 for Elders.
