As word spreads that rail blockades set up in support of Wet’suwet’en hereditary chiefs are coming down, the racism that suddenly appeared for the first time in history or something is beginning to disappear.
“Yeah, it’s crazy because we there was never any racism in this country before the blockades went up,” said Canadian spokesperson Lily LeBlanc.
“The blockades made us racist, and prone to making death threats because we were inconvenienced.”
Analysts say that further outbreaks of spontaneous racism can be prevented, so long as Indigenous people protest quietly and where no one can ever see them.
